Young entrepreneur Jelena Pejanović, owner of the company "Ukus i tradicija Pejanović" (Taste and Tradition Pejanović), has been producing homemade syrups, wines, jams and teas for almost a decade. Her idea to offer her products in small packages as gastronomic souvenirs to tourists received the support of the Kingdom of Norway through the project "Norway for You - Montenegro".
"We received the support of a marketing consultant for improving the placement, that is, expanding to the new markets, which is especially important considering that it is a start-up company. Digital marketing has also improved because now company pages on social networks are much more visible and transparent for people who want to find such products," Jelena Pejanović explains.
Her company also received the support of technologists for the formulation of new products. "Unique products for Montenegro - rose wine and tea made from dried rose petals are our new products that have been branded through the project so that they can be found on the market soon," Pejanović emphasizes.
"With the support of the Kingdom of Norway, our small company got a wind at its back. For us, as beginners in business, it means a lot to help in getting into new markets, adapting to new trends, as well as expanding the range of products, that is, creating new gastronomic souvenirs for tourists visiting our country. Our gastro souvenir can now be found in souvenir shops in Kotor and Podgorica, and in Duty Free Montenegro - at the airports in Tivat and Golubovci, where tourists can buy our products and take it with them as a souvenir from our country", Pejanović points out.
The company "Ukus i tradicija Pejanović" is the beneficiary of the project "SUPPORT4SME", which was implemented by the Business Start Center Bar in cooperation with the Municipality of Bar, and funded by the Kingdom of Norway through the project "Norway for You - Montenegro".
