Informative Sessions for Vocational Training Projects Held

As part of a Public Call for vocational training activities projects funded by the Kingdom of Norway with 150,000 Euros through the “Norway for You – Montenegro“ Project, information sessions for all interested parties were held in Podgorica, Pljevlja and Bijelo Polje.

More than 70 interested representatives of private companies, local governments, licensed organisers of adult education and non-governmental organizations received all the information on the process of submitting project proposals, as well as additional clarifications from the Project representatives. The highest interest was about the training delivery models that the grant recipients should implement.

"The objective of this call is that at least 60 unemployed people from less developed municipalities in Montenegro receive quality vocational training in order to find employment and at least half of them to get a job. In the evaluation process, projects that will specifically improve the competencies of the unemployed will be scored high," “Norway for You – Montenegro” Project Manager Armen Čekić said.

Private companies, local self-governments or public enterprises, licensed adult education and training providers, non-governmental organisations and other relevant legal entities conducting trainings for unemployed can submit their project proposals for grants in the value from 5,000 to 30,000 Euros for organising trainings from two to 12 participants, out of which 50 percent should get employment.  The detailed criteria with the application documents are published on the project website www.norveskazavas.me, while the proposals can be submitted until 30 January 2020.
